Covers up to 12 square feet Growing Directions: Outdoor Garden: 1. Pick a shady location. 2. Break the grain spawn apart in the bag. 3. Add a layer of mulch or straw to the area where you’d like to grow, then water well. 4. Sprinkle the grain spawn on top and cover with another layer of mulch or straw. 5. Water again to ensure proper hydration. Grow in a Bucket or Laundry Basket: 1. Drill holes (about the size of a dime to a quarter) in your bucket. 2. Sterilize your straw or wood pellets by adding boiling water and letting them soak for 30 minutes. Strain to remove excess moisture. 3. Layer your substrate like lasagna: start with straw, then grain spawn, and repeat until the bucket is full. Indoor Growing (Mushroom Grow Bag): 1. Prepare or buy a bag of hardwood substrate. 2. Break apart the grain spawn and add it to the substrate. 3. Seal the bag tightly and shake to mix everything well. Shelf Life: 6 months to a year. Refrigerate until ready to use.
